Joshua E. Holmes is a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor with 30+ yrs experience.
He began his surveying career part-time while in high school in 1993 with Hutchison-Biggs and Associates. Holmes has since gained extensive experience in a variety of projects, including residential and commercial development, large-scale resort projects, municipal projects, heavy highway construction, vertical construction, greenways, rights of way and easements, and education.
In 2005, he co-founded Ed Holmes and Associates with his father, Ed, and currently serves as President of the firm. Holmes has also served on several boards and commissions, including the Buncombe County Planning and Zoning Board, Buncombe County Board of Adjustment, Pigeon River Fund Board, Council of Independent Business Owners Board of Directors, West Buncombe Fire Department Board of Directors, Yonder Owner Advisory Board, and WNC Real Estate Foundation Board of Directors.
